While the vehicles produced between 1985 and 1987 were put into service with 90, 110 standard and 130 long wheelbases, after 1990 these vehicles began to be called Defender 90, 110 and 130.
The turbo engine in this series of vehicles, which will be known as Defender from this date onwards, has been renewed and equipped with many innovations that offer the user much more comfortable mobility even at high speeds. Intercooler and direct injection block housing, crankshaft, main bearings, auxiliary air system such as cambelt system and diesel turbo are some of these innovations.
