Brief overview of the history of Land Rover... While the vehicles produced between 1985 and 1987 were put into service with 90, 110 standard and 130 long wheelbases, after 1990 these vehicles began to be called  Defender  90, 110 and 130. The turbo engine in this series of vehicles, which will be known as  Defender  from this date onwards, has been renewed and equipped with many innovations that offer the user much more comfortable mobility even at high speeds. Intercooler and direct injection block housing, crankshaft, main bearings, auxiliary air system such as cambelt system and diesel turbo are some of these innovations. The  Defender  series continued its journey for 26 years between 1990-2016. A total of over 2 million Land Rover Series and  Defender  models were produced during 68 years of uninterrupted production.   Land Rover tarihine kısa bir genel bakış… 1985-1987 yılları arasında üretilen araçlar 90, 110 standart ve 130 uzun dingil mesafeleri ile hizmete sunulurken, 1990 sonrası bu araçlar  Defender  90, 110 ve 130 adları ile anılmaya başlandı. Bu tarihten itibaren  Defender  olarak anılacak bu seri araçlarda turbo motoru yenilendi ve yüksek hızlarda dahi kullanıcıya çok daha rahat hareket edebilme özelliği sunan birçok yeniliklerle donatıldı. Ara soğutucu ve direkt enjeksiyonlu blok muhafaza, krank mili,  ana rulmanlar, cambelt sistemi ve dizel turbo gibi yardımcı hava sistemi bu yeniliklerden bazılarıdır.   Land Rover tarihine kısa bir genel bakış… Camel Trophy  serüveni, ilk olarak 1980 yılında 3 Alman ekibin Amazon Havzası'nda arazi araçları ile keşif yapmasıyla başladı. Herkes tarafından büyük ilgi gören macera dolu bu ilk etkinlikten sonra organizatörler destek için Land Rover şirketine, ana sponsorluk için ise tütün şirketi Camel'a başvurdu. Bundan sonraki yirmi yıl boyunca, Range Rover, Land Rover Series III, Land Rover 90, Land Rover 110, Land Rover Defender, Land Rover Discovery ve Freelander gibi tüm Land Rover araç serileri, her yıl düzenlenen bu yarışmalarda kullanıldı. Bu araçlar genellikle tanınabilir "kum parıltısı" renginde ve üzerlerinde  "Camel Trophy"  arması bulunan araçlardı. Brief overview of the history of Land Rover... The  Camel Trophy  adventure first started in 1980, when 3 German teams explored the Amazon Basin with off-road vehicles. After this adventurous first event, which attracted great interest from everyone, the organizers approached the Land Rover company for support and the tobacco company Camel for the main sponsorship. For the next two decades, the entire Land Rover vehicle series, including Range Rover, Land Rover Series III, Land Rover 90, Land Rover 110, Land Rover Defender, Land Rover Discovery and Freelander, were used in these annual competitions. These vehicles were usually painted in a recognizable "sand shine" color and had the  "Camel Trophy"  badge on them.
