  Brief overview of the history of Land Rover… DEFENDER FAREWELL SERIES The Euro 6 regulation, which came into force in the European Union in 2015 to make diesel cars as clean as gasoline cars, was one of the biggest factors in discontinuing the production of the Defender model. As of 2015, Defender has offered 3 different models to the market under the name of Veda Series. The first of these is the Autobiography Edition version, focused on performance, comfort and especially luxury. In this version, dual color paint on the bodywork, puma type torpedo, dual color high quality Windsor leather on the seats and interior upholstery, LED headlight system in lighting, metal rims aluminum door handles, 16 inch glossy black alloys are used. In addition, there was a 30HP performance increase in engine power. Only 80 units of the Autobiography Edition, which Land Rover produced in limited numbers for users who desire the highest level in terms of design and performance and who cannot give up...

  Land Rover tarihine kısa bir genel bakış… 1985-1987 yılları arasında üretilen araçlar 90, 110 standart ve 130 uzun dingil mesafeleri ile hizmete sunulurken, 1990 sonrası bu araçlar  Defender  90, 110 ve 130 adları ile anılmaya başlandı. Bu tarihten itibaren  Defender  olarak anılacak bu seri araçlarda turbo motoru yenilendi ve yüksek hızlarda dahi kullanıcıya çok daha rahat hareket edebilme özelliği sunan birçok yeniliklerle donatıldı. Ara soğutucu ve direkt enjeksiyonlu blok muhafaza, krank mili,  ana rulmanlar, cambelt sistemi ve dizel turbo gibi yardımcı hava sistemi bu yeniliklerden bazılarıdır. Defender  serisi 1990-2016 tarihleri arasında 26 yıl boyunca yolculuğuna devam etti. 68 yıllık kesintisiz üretim süreci boyunca toplamda 2 milyonun üzerinde Land Rover Serisi ve  Defender  modeli üretildi. 29 Ocak 2016 tarihi itibariyle de son ikonik İngiliz aracı olan Land Rover  Defender ’ın üretimine son verildi. Brief overview of the history of Land Rover... While the vehicles produced between 1985 and 1987 were put into service with 90, 110 standard and 130 long wheelbases, after 1990 these vehicles began to be called  Defender  90, 110 and 130. The turbo engine in this series of vehicles, which will be known as  Defender  from this date onwards, has been renewed and equipped with many innovations that offer the user much more comfortable mobility even at high speeds. Intercooler and direct injection block housing, crankshaft, main bearings, auxiliary air system such as cambelt system and diesel turbo are some of these innovations. The  Defender  series continued its journey for 26 years between 1990-2016. A total of over 2 million Land Rover Series and  Defender  models were produced during 68 years of uninterrupted production. As of January 29, 2016, production of the last iconic British vehicle, Land Rover  Defender , was discontinued. Stay tuned...
